In 2002, Stephen Kellogg was touring, doing some shows solo and some with various permutations of his new band (Kit and Boots and often Dave "Cookie Dough" Chalfant) who would eventually be known as the Sixers. At this time, he started a side project with songwriter/guitarist James Sangiovanni (better known as Fuzz) from Deep Banana Blackout, a funk band from Connecticut.
This side project was known as All Stripped Down. All Stripped Down shows had an almost vaudevillian spin to them, with songs and skits and a great deal of comedy. The duo would sing and play guitar together, doing some of Stephen's songs, some of Deep Banana Blackout's, and some covers.
Here's an archive of the (now gone) web page where they announced this project.
Here is a promo video, which contains some footage of them playing live.
